Research Associate -- Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Location: Philadelphia, PA. Open Date: Sep 22, 2025. Deadline: Sep 22, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the research missions of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
• Opportunity to receive mentorship in grants writing and grants proposals suitable to early-stage academic investigators.

Requirements

• Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree.
• Successful applicant will have research experience in pathology and be funded by a sponsored program.
