About the role
Works independently in the day-to-day laboratory operation, collection, and review of data for the Laboratory Sciences department. Supports the activities of various service groups including ligand binding, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and LCMS/MS as needed. Participates in the creation of study worksheets, SOPs, and other controlled documents as assigned. Provides support for general laboratory equipment and maintenance as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Laboratory maintenance (cleaning, ordering supplies, equipment PM, etc.)
- Collect and organize laboratory data according to the appropriate oversight document (e.g., Protocol, Analytical Study Plan, SOPs)
- Create and/or revise SOPs and SOP forms
- Work independently on study-related tasks
- Perform quality control review of laboratory and study records
- Assist with method development activities
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent education and laboratory experience; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
Pay
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00 per hour. Hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location, as well as internal equity and market data.
