Responsibilities
- Design and execute wet lab and animal model experiments
- Support clinical studies
- Research the role of molecular clocks in cardiovascular disease
- Study the effects of circadian disruption on health and patient outcomes
- Support translational studies relating to circadian biology and cardiovascular physiology
Requirements
- Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree
- Expertise in circadian biology and cardiovascular physiology and pathology
- Skills in laboratory techniques including cell culture, molecular biology, mouse models, and rodent cardiac surgery
- Strong experience in clinical translational research, advanced statistical analytics, omics analyses, wearable device application and data analysis, and statistical programming languages
Qualifications
- A degree in medicine or a strong understanding of human physiology and disease is desired
Benefits
- The appointment is initially for one (1) year and can be renewed based on performance and funding availability (up to three (3) years)
