Research Associate- International Centre for Future Health Systems & School of Built Environment
Position Summary
The position will be based in the International Centre for Future Health Systems, Faculty of Medicine and Health, working in partnership with the School of Built Environment, Faculty of Arts Design and Architecture. The role would be focused on strengthening capacity to address built environment determinants of health, generating policy-relevant evidence for healthy and climate-resilient buildings and communities, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in future health systems research across UNSW.
Some Key Skills Required
- A PhD in a related discipline (either in the built environment, such as architecture, architectural science, construction, or health systems such as medicine, public health) and relevant work experience.
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments in future health systems and the built environment.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
