Research Associate III – Integrative Metabolic Biology

Responsibilities
- Execute molecular and cell biology protocols, including flow cytometry, quantitative PCR, western blots, RNAseq and associated data quantification/analysis
- Assist with imaging experiments, including confocal and mass spec imaging and associated data quantification/analysis
- Human and mouse cell cultures
- Contribute to the development of new protocols as needed
- Present results and summarize progress to help frame internal decision-making
- Comply with SOPs, good laboratory practices, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation using established methods
- Train new lab members in molecular, cellular, and imaging techniques
Requirements
Essential Functions:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, or related field
- 4 years of equivalent experience
Skills
Fine motor movements in fingers/hands to operate computers and lab instruments/equipment
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or reaching
Exposure and handling of laboratory animals
Laboratory atmosphere - possible exposure to chemical, biological or other hazardous substances

Annualized Salary Range: $76,000 - $93,150
Final salary depends on required education for the role, experience, and level of skills relevant to the role, along with work location, where applicable
