This requisition is for an onsite Research Associate II position in Personalized Healthcare Solutions. Our work includes: Integrated Solutions: Bringing to market diagnostic testing, laboratory efficiency tools, healthcare digitalization, and decision support software. Precision Information: Delivering increasingly precise information through our products to help save lives, manage infection risks, and monitor the effectiveness of treatments. Companion Diagnostics: Partnering with pharmaceutical companies to create assays that identify patients who are most likely to respond to a particular drug.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences preferred)
- 2-4 years of relevant post-college experience
- Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will not be considered
- Candidates with less than 2 years or greater than 4 years of post-college experience will not be considered
- Candidates with a Master's degree or Ph.D will not be considered
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support Ventana projects.
- Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
- Present and discuss results of experiments within department and project team.
- Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies.
- Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate.
- Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.
- May act as principal investigator in conducting own experiments.
