About The Role
The person in this role must be based in the Portland, Oregon or surrounding suburbs. It requires on-site work from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Performs standardized research and evaluation activities with minimal oversight, including developing project materials and supporting dissemination
- Performs standardized support tasks for research and evaluation activities, including organizing project materials, taking meeting minutes, and keeping logs of compliance related documents
- Serves as task lead or project manager, including maintaining project plan, timeline, and deliverable schedule
- Conducts (and may lead some aspects of) data collection, which could include surveys, interviews, field observations, site visits and focus groups
Qualifications
- BA / BS in a related field
- Experience in managing research and/or evaluation projects in an academic, community, or government setting
- Strong understanding of research and evaluation design and methods and regulatory compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, R, or equivalent
