Duties / Responsibilities
- Aid in assessment presentations and stakeholder interviews.
- Develop instructional guides and training videos.
- Validate mission and instrument information.
- Review scientific and technical materials for media development.
- Analyze SNWG survey responses and track use metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process streamlining and task automation.
- Assist in the creation and testing of SNWG Assessment tools.
- Aid in generating NSITE plans and systems engineering activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Earth Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.
- 3 - 6 months of full-time, verifiable work experience.
- Scientific research experience, including the use of remotely sensed data.
- Working knowledge of satellite data available from NASA.
- Strong communication skills, including technical writing and formal presentations.
- Basic use of Python in science applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (including SharePoint) and Google Workspace.
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Earth Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Advanced experience using Python for scientific applications.
- Experience with quality assurance testing for web applications.
- Knowledge of systems engineering.
