About the role

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Associate to support an ongoing human neurostimulation study. This role involves assisting with participant recruitment, study coordination, data collection, and experiment execution. You will work directly with research participants during neurostimulation experiments, maintain study documentation, and assist with data management and analysis as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
• May program software in support of job functions.
• Attends project meetings.
• Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures.
• Researches and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination, or presentation; writes technical reports.
• May build and validate quantitative models.
• Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect, and record results or observations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1-3 years of data collection and analysis experience.
• 1-3 years of research, lab, and methodology experience.
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
• Successful background check.
