Research Associate - Biosensing

About the role

The Research Associate will contribute to the development and implementation of biosensing technologies within our research facility. They will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to design, test, and optimize biosensing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments to develop new biosensing technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biosensing solutions into existing systems
• Perform data analysis to interpret results and make recommendations for improvements
• Document methodologies and findings for future reference and publication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics)
• Experience with biosensing techniques and instrumentation
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related laboratory experience
• Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or R
• Understanding of quality control and validation procedures

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually
