Full-time position (40 hours per week, day shift) located in Salt Lake City, UT.
About the Role
This position is for a PhD-level scientist with postdoctoral experience, focusing on research at the intersection of the gut microbiome, tumor immunology, and colon cancer. The role involves conducting experiments, writing protocols, presenting results, mentoring junior scientists, and assisting with lab management duties.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cellular and molecular biology experiments in microbiology and immunology.
- Write and maintain laboratory protocols.
- Present research results in presentations and manuscripts.
- Mentor junior scientists, including graduate students.
- Assist with lab management duties, including ordering, animal protocols, and biosafety.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant scientific field.
- Postdoctoral experience.
- Proficiency in cellular and molecular biology techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in microbiome research.
- Experience in colon cancer research.
- Experience with cell culture and animal models of disease.

Pay
