About the role

The department of Informatics and Health Data Science at the University of Miami is seeking a full-time Research Associate 1 to work onsite on the UHealth campus.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality research support including literature reviews, reference management, project organization, and administrative coordination.
• Aids in manuscript preparation and ensures timely progress on research deliverables.
• Supports multiple projects in health data science and informatics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
• Prior research or administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with academic publishing and reference management tools strongly desirable.

Skills and Attitudes

• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
