Research Associate

Job Duties

We are seeking a Research Associate to support a research project exploring the mental health challenges faced by large animal veterinarians in rural Saskatchewan. The Successful Candidate Will:

• assist with conducting and scheduling interviews with rural veterinarians,
• recruit study participants,
• review and organize qualitative data,
• contribute to reports,
• presentations, and
• manuscript writing.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities And Experience

Specific Accountabilities Duties Required

• Undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate) in a relevant field such as Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or related discipline.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Interest in mental health, rural health, or veterinary research.
• Experience with qualitative research is an asset.
• Demonstrates valuing diversity.
