National Law University, Jodhpur is a premier legal education and research institution in India. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is undertaking a research project titled “Socio-Cultural Impact Assessment of the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005: A Study of Jodhpur District.”
About the role
The selected candidate will contribute to data analysis, report writing, publication-related work, and stakeholder coordination as part of the research team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thematic data analysis.
- Assist in report writing and publication-related activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders associated with the High Court.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Law, Sociology, or Social Work; or
- M.A. in Sociology or Social Work; or
- LL.M. with specialization in Family Law, Property Law, or Socio-Legal Studies.
- Strong research skills, particularly in qualitative analysis (knowledge of NVivo is preferred).
- Excellent academic writing skills.
- Publications will be preferred.
- Reading knowledge of Hindi.
Pay
₹80,000 (Lump Sum).
Schedule
Two months (September–October 2026, tentatively).
