About the role

Kyomei is seeking a scientist who is passionate about using plants to produce high-value functional and speciality food ingredients. Responsibilities

• Develop innovative plant-based solutions for food ingredient production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and processes
• Conduct research and development on plant-based ingredients
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in plant-based science and technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Plant Science, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plant-based ingredient development
• Strong understanding of plant biology and molecular biology
• Experience with plant tissue culture and bioprocessing techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to non-scientists
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills
