Research Associate

About the role

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking a part-time Research Associate to serve in the Collaboratory, a community-based hub created to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities in Albany’s South End. The Research Associate will work with Collaboratory staff and ACPHS faculty on Collaboratory-based research projects.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Schedule

Standard work hours are from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday; however, evening and weekend hours may be assigned. This position is based in Albany, NY and requires consistent, in-person collaboration and/or interaction with the community, so all work is performed full-time on-site or in other community locations.
