About the role
Performs analytical chemistry research and experiments in collaboration with others to develop assays based on new and existing methodologies. Assists in developing and validating oligonucleotide and enzyme testing methodology used to control raw materials, production intermediates, and final products. Evaluates and optimizes test methods, new antibodies, enzymes, and reagents. Helps establish, validate and document new or existing compound identification methods. Conducts testing of analytical samples in support of Process Development.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and optimizes test methods, new antibodies, enzymes, and reagents.
- Helps establish, validate and document new or existing compound identification methods.
- Conducts testing of analytical samples in support of Process Development.
- Writes and reviews product instructions for use, protocols and technical reports in compliance with Quality Management Systems and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Maintains laboratory notebooks and provides customer and co-worker technical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications may be required.
- 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
