About the role

The Research Associate 1, Analytical Services will play a key role in supporting the analytical services department within BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytical tests using various laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Prepare samples for testing and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
• Document results accurately and maintain detailed records of all analytical procedures and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and support project timelines.
• Participate in method validation and optimization processes to improve analytical efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to analytical methods and data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
• Experience with quality control and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
