Responsibilities
- Small animal handling and in vivo studies
- Laboratory organization and purchasing
- Data collection, analysis, and maintenance of records
- General laboratory maintenance and research project assistance
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience related to handling laboratory equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree (e.g., B.S., B.A) in Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Biochemistry, or related fields
- Experience with molecular biological techniques such as Electrophoresis, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), etc.
- Experience working with basic science laboratory equipment
- Experience with laboratory research animals
- Strong work ethic and an interest in developing independent research
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
