Research Assistant Senior (Lab of Dr. Christine Eischen)
About the role
The research assistant carries out experiments as part of a team of bio-medical researchers to investigate the molecular mechanisms mediating diseases. They will also record and analyze experimental results and collaborate effectively with other team members. Maintains a lab database of technical and animal protocols, plasmids, antibodies and other key resources. Keeps accurate records of reagents. Troubleshoots experimental design malfunctions and implements solutions, interfaces directly with equipment manufacturers for adjustments and repairs. Instructs research personnel on specialized techniques and complex protocols; coordinates and participates in intra-collegial presentations and meetings. Trains and mentors research personnel. Analyzes results of experiments independently. Develops scientific hypotheses related to ongoing work in the laboratory. Designs experiments to test hypotheses.

Requirements
- Minimum four (4) years experience in bench research required.
- Master's Degree Requirements: Proven expertise in immunology and hands-on experience with flow cytometry, including data analysis and interpretation
