About the role
The position will require working in a laboratory setting as well as in a mouse facility. It is a one-year term position from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension, contingent upon work performance and continued funding to support the position.
Responsibilities
- Mouse genotyping
- Preparation of samples for immunohistochemistry
- Cloning of plasmids
- Cell culture work
- Imaging samples with fluorescence microscopy
- Measuring protein levels by Western blot
- Participating in lab meetings
- Maintaining records
Requirements
- College background or equivalent work experience, preferably in a related discipline
- At least one year of related work experience in laboratory-based research (relevant course work may count towards some, though not all, work experience)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Cell biology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Microbiology)

- Standard Hours/Schedule: 35 hrs. per week | Monday - Friday | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
