About the role
This Graduate Research Assistant position is available to master's and doctoral students assigned to a specific faculty member conducting research or scholarly endeavors. Duties will vary based on the project and may include research, scholarly functions, or other creative aspects.
Maximum appointment is limited to 20 hours per week (50% FTE) during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer, the appointment may be increased up to 40 hours per week (100% FTE) if funded by a grant.
Requirements
- Currently admitted to a graduate degree program at the university
- In good academic standing
- Registered full-time for the respective semester:
- Nine (9) semester credit hours during fall semester
- Nine (9) semester credit hours during spring semester
- Three (3) semester credit hours during summer session(s), or
- Registered for the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill only remaining degree plan requirements
