Research Assistant - College of Engineering - Chemical Engineering

Core Responsibilities

• Follows research plans in order to collect, record, and manipulate research data.
• Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files.
• May test software prototypes.
• May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
• Performs basic data analysis in order to produce reports.
• Documents results and processes.
• Performs library research and field explorations.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• An interdisciplinary strength in microkinetic modeling.
• A strong research record, including academic experience.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• A highly motivated and creative individual, enjoying working in a collaborative research environment.
