Responsibilities
- Oversee research projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and external funding requirements.
- Collaborate with faculty and students across disciplines to advance scientific knowledge and innovation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external funding agencies to secure continued support for research initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior researchers, providing guidance on methodologies and career development.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and provide feedback to ensure project milestones are met.
Requirements
- A PhD in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Proven track record of successful grant writing and securing external funding.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Knowledge of federal regulations related to research and compliance.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
