About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee research projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and external funding requirements.
  • Collaborate with faculty and students across disciplines to advance scientific knowledge and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external funding agencies to secure continued support for research initiatives.
  • Train and mentor junior researchers, providing guidance on methodologies and career development.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and provide feedback to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

  • A PhD in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience.
  • Proven track record of successful grant writing and securing external funding.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations related to research and compliance.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
