Research Assistant

Job Summary

Will assist faculty members and lab personnel in conducting research and carrying out research experiments and summarizing the data.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with senior lab personnel and carry out work independently.
• Perform experiments, data analysis, record keeping, administrative support and lab maintenance.
• Teach lab procedures and experimental protocol to students and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, neuroscience or related field.
• Highly motivated with a strong scientific aptitude.
• Good organizational skills and record-keeping are required.
• Five years prior experience working in a lab is required.
