About the role
The Research Assistant position supports ongoing laboratory research projects focusing on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE-photoreceptor interactions. The role involves strain maintenance, verification, husbandry, and in vivo assays.
Responsibilities
- Performs and assists in laboratory experiments investigating the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE-photoreceptor interactions.
- Conducts supervised animal experimentation, including strain maintenance, verification, husbandry, and in vivo assays.
- Works under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator to execute laboratory tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or a related field.
- Minimum of six months experience in small rodent handling.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and skills in training and handling small rodents.
