About the role
Mt. Auburn Associates is a women-owned firm with over 30 years of experience in economic development, workforce development, and community revitalization in low-income communities. Our primary focus is on the design and implementation of evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Support qualitative and quantitative research across national and local initiatives related to community investment, affordable housing, inclusive growth, small business development, workforce development, economic mobility, health equity, community resilience, and creative economies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, sociology, public policy, or a related social science.
- Experience conducting research and evaluations, preferably in the areas of community development and economic justice.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data from various sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in research and evaluation.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
Skills
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R).
