Research Analyst (Medical Policy) - Hybrid (PA/NJ/DE)
Major Responsibilities
- Systematically evaluate and interpret results of published research and other clinical data on medical devices, drugs, biologicals and procedures in order to evaluate safety and efficacy ensuring sound research design and analytical methods.
- Lead multidisciplinary workgroups and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues, as required.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Skilled in presenting to internal and external stakeholders, summarizing performance results and analytic findings.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis services.
- Manage project timelines, monitor outcomes, evaluate results, summarize findings, and use statistical analysis for ensuring data integrity.
- Perform systematic proactive monitoring of health care technologies such as, medical devices, diagnostic tests and procedures, therapeutic interventions to inform strategic planning activities.
- Ensure sound analytical methods.
- Other duties as required.
- Advanced degree in health care administration, public health, business, or related area preferred, undergraduate degree required.
- Strong demonstrated skills in carrying out analytic projects, along with writing and speaking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities that include presenting complex information in a way that is easy to understand.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
