About the role

Bioanalytical Chemistry supports drug development through quantitative analysis of drugs in biological samples, developing and validating LC-MS/MS methods, delivering bioanalytical data, and ensuring GxP-compliant results for preclinical, PK/PD, safety, and clinical studies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document bioanalytical procedures, materials, and results in compliance with protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute routine sample analysis and method validation studies independently using UPLC-MS/MS platforms.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment with minimal oversight.
  • Analyze data, prepare study documentation, and independently write study and non-study deviations.
  • Support laboratory operations through inventory management, solution preparation, labeling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with laboratory investigations, assay troubleshooting, and quality observations.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, project leads, and supervisors through clear communication.
  • Provide support for sample analysis and validation projects as needed.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support laboratory and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical laboratory environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
  • Ability to learn and work within validated laboratory and data management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and time constraints.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or additional shifts as business needs require.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa, now or in the future.

Pay

$27.50/hour.

From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
