About the department

The Department of Pathology focuses on understanding the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. The Chervonsky Lab specializes in organ-specific diseases like autoimmune diabetes and psoriasis, utilizing mouse models for their research.

Responsibilities

• Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
• Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens.
• Conducts literature reviews.
• Aids in the preparation of reports, manuscripts, and other documents.
• Installs, sets up, and performs experiments under the direction of the principal investigator.
• Performs other related work as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in a related field.
• Knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Experience with transgenic mouse colony.

• Basic technical support activities related to scientific research projects.
