About the role
This position is eligible for remote work. As a Research Administrator Senior, you will be primarily responsible for independently reviewing and negotiating research-related agreements, including federal and industry contracts and clinical trial agreements. The successful candidate will work with sponsors to negotiate agreements in accordance with applicable regulations, legal requirements and University policy, and will have excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities
- Independently review and negotiate research-related agreements, including federal and industry contracts and clinical trial agreements.
- Work with sponsors to negotiate agreements in accordance with applicable regulations, legal requirements and University policy.
- Think critically and work collegially to successfully resolve questions and issues for faculty, staff, and colleagues.
- Communicate timely and professionally to a range of individuals.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of research administration, understand, interpret, and research complex and varied regulations.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and be willing to be a lifelong learner.
Requirements
- Master's degree and four (4) years of experience OR equivalent (below)
- High School diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience
- Associate’s degree and eight (8) years of experience
- Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience
- Doctorate degree and one (1) year of experience
