- Participate in sorting, evaluating and buying gently used brand name clothing, accessories and shoes from customers
- Provide excellent customer service through brand and style knowledge
- Participate in visual merchandising of store and overall appearance
- Sales and customer service to shoppers
- Must live, eat and breathe fashion!
- Stellar knowledge of young adult fashion and brands plus designer. Vintage a plus!

- Experience working in secondhand resale stores such as Uptown Cheapskate, Buffalo Exchange, Pavement Clothing, Plato's Closet, Style Encore, Clothes Mentor, Hut 8, Kid-to-Kid, Once Upon a Child, or similar businesses
- Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Uptown Cheapskate San Marcos, Austin and College Station comprise an award-winning group of locally-owned upscale fashion exchanges specializing in resale of trendy, designer, vintage and western apparel & accessories for men and women. We have been voted Best of the Brazos Valley, Bryan-College Station Eagle Reader's Choice, Best of Austin and Best of Hays County. We have three of the busiest stores in the country and are committed to the good work and charity we do!
Uptown Cheapskate is an exciting retail store concept that sells quality clothing brands at affordable prices. Every month, our franchise stores buy and resell thousands of clothing items that have been gently used at a fraction of the prices originally charged. That’s why Uptown Cheapskate is such an effective idea that resonates with customers of every income bracket and style persuasion. Our stores feel more like a boutique than a thrift shop, allowing more people to feel comfortable shopping second-hand.

Since 2015, Uptown Cheapskate has joined forces with Kid to Kid and buildOn across the nation to raise money to build schools in developing countries. With your help, communities in Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Haiti, Nepal, Malawi, and Nicaragua now have the facilities that they need to educate their children for years to come.
