About the Role

The Requirements Specialist will translate business objectives into clear, actionable technical requirements. They will act as a liaison between stakeholders, such as customers, end-users, and developers, to ensure that project objectives are clearly defined and understood by all parties involved. This involves eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting the needs and expectations of the stakeholders to create a structured set of requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, facilitate workshops, and gather information from diverse stakeholders.
  • Translate gathered information into comprehensive, actionable specifications to serve as the foundation for project planning, design, and development phases, ultimately guiding the execution and delivery of a product or service that meets the intended goals.
  • Create detailed requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are implementable.
  • Support system-level requirements analysis, allocation, and integration across complex architecture components.
  • Contribute to the development of requirement engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Ensure all teams stay aligned with the latest requirements.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Qualifications

  • Experience in translating business objectives into technical requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to analyze and validate stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed requirements documents and technical specifications.
  • Experience working with technical teams to ensure requirements are implementable.
  • Knowledge of requirement engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
