Representative-Ins Claims

American Express · Sunrise, FL · 3 wk ago
HybridFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We need to parse the job description. First, we have a description: "Job Description AMEX Assurance Co. (AAC) provides insurance protection for American Express Card Members through implicit card benefits, and fee/add-on insurance products to both Card Members and non-Card Members. This role provides an exciting opportunity to handle claims for the Retail products with growth into specialty lines products in the AMEX Assurance Co. Insurance portfolio over time." That's about the role. So we can have

About the role

with that paragraph. Next, "Responsibilities" heading: then bullet list of duties. The text: "Your duties may include but are not limited to: Investigation of policy and product information by using tools available. Maintaining state compliance for reporting, Medicare, insurance claims and audit functions relative to the AAC claims team related to claims adjudication. Decision making of claims for these products, as well as direct phone interaction with the customer to ensure timely decisions Researching claims for proper disposition which may include communication via phone and/or written correspondence with customers, businesses and others. Adjudication of claims relative to all state and local laws and compliance as well as internal processes and procedures. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ or Sunrise, FL and the ideal candidate will work a minimum of 3 days onsite / 2 days remotely. The ideal candidate will work a flexible schedule between the hours of operation: Monday - Friday - 6:00am - 5:00pm MST and may be asked to work rotational weekends." We need to separate responsibilities from schedule? The schedule info appears after responsibilities. The schedule: "minimum of 3 days onsite / 2 days remotely" and "flexible schedule between the hours of operation: Monday - Friday - 6:00am - 5:00pm MST and may be asked to work rotational weekends." That's schedule info. So we can have a Schedule section. We also have Qualifications: "Minimum Qualifications: ..." then list of qualifications. Also "Additional Requirements:" about license. Also "Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions." That's a requirement. We also have "About Us" and "About The Team" sections describing benefits. Benefits: list of benefits: Competitive base salaries, Bonus incentives, 6% Company Match on retirement savings plan, Free financial coaching..., Comprehensive medical..., Flexible working model..., 20+ weeks paid parental leave..., Free access to global on-site wellness centers..., Free and confidential counseling support..., Career development and training opportunities. Also mention "For a full list of Team Amex benefits, visit our Colleague Benefits Site ." That's a link but we can keep as text. We also have "Pay" section: "The below represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors." No actual numbers given, just statement. Since no specific salary range, we should NOT create Pay section because it's not specific content (just generic). The rule: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Here they say "expected salary range" but not giving numbers. That's vague; likely considered placeholder. So we should omit Pay section. Schedule: we have specific schedule details: minimum 3 days onsite/2 days remotely, flexible schedule Monday-Friday 6am-5pm MST, may work rotational weekends. That's specific enough. So include Schedule. Benefits: we have specific list. So include Benefits. Qualifications: we have Minimum Qualifications and Additional Requirements. So include Qualifications (or Requirements). The rule: use headings like Qualifications, Skills, Requirements. We can combine qualifications and requirements under Qualifications. Or we could have Requirements separate. But we need to avoid thin sections. Probably one Qualifications section covering both. Skills: we could extract skills from qualifications: communication, phone skills, problem solving, etc. But we already have qualifications covering those. Might not need separate Skills. About the role: we have. Responsibilities: we have. About Us/American Express culture: maybe not needed as a section unless we have heading like About the Company. Not in list of allowed headings? The allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we should not add About Us or About The Team as headings unless we map them to allowed headings. Could treat "About Us" as part of About the role? Probably not. Better to omit those sections because they are not in allowed headings list. However we need to preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot drop substantive info. But we can incorporate that info into existing sections, like Benefits (the benefits list is from About The Team). The "About Us" culture description could be incorporated into About the role or maybe a general paragraph. But we must not invent headings not allowed. So we can put the culture description as a

under About the role or maybe as a separate paragraph before sections. The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., implying those are examples but not exclusive? It says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect only those headings. So we should stick to those. Thus we need to embed the "About Us" and "About The Team" content somewhere, maybe as part of Benefits (since benefits are described there) or as a paragraph under About the role (makes sense). The About the role currently only has the first paragraph about AAC. We can extend that paragraph to include the culture description? Might be okay. But we must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is not given explicitly; we can ignore. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions. So we need to strip out the EEO statements, the "American Express is an equal opportunity employer..." and the "US Job Seekers - Click to view the “ Know Your Rights ” poster." etc. Also the "For positions covered by federal and/or state banking regulations..." etc. Also the "We back our colleagues with the support they need..." etc. Also the "American Express will consider for employment all qualified applicants..." etc. Also the "For a full list of Team Amex benefits, visit our Colleague Benefits Site ." maybe keep as part of benefits? It's a link but we can keep as text. We also need to remove duplicated lines. Now craft HTML. Structure:
