About the role
We're looking for a customer-focused and technically skilled Admixtures Technical Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll build strong customer relationships, provide technical support, identify business growth opportunities, and install, maintain, and calibrate admixture dispensing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers by providing exceptional service and serving as the primary technical resource for admixture products and dispensing systems.
- Communicate price information to customers and develop overall market price strategy in collaboration with Admixtures Sales Manager.
- Work with accounting & logistics as needed to solve customers’ issues
- Business Development: Grow existing accounts by identifying upselling opportunities, supporting new business development, and collaborating with the Admixtures Sales Manager to execute market pricing and sales strategies.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and service process.
- Equipment Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on admixture dispensing equipment to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable operation.
- Field Service: Perform plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work associated with the installation, repair, and maintenance of dispensing equipment at customer locations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Ready-Mix Operations, Technical Services, Sales, Quality Control, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all Cemex and customer safety policies while promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on Cemex admixture products, technologies, and industry best practices to provide value-added solutions and support continuous business growth.
- Ethics: Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct by being honest, transparent, and proactive in all communications, while consistently adhering to CEMEX policies, procedures, and the Code of Ethics
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in technical sales, field service, construction materials, concrete admixtures, industrial equipment maintenance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with the ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate dispensing equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Sales & Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting sales growth. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees at all organizational levels. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical and customer issues. Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in the field, and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
