Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to join our team and provide critical support to the Senior Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate enjoys investigating discrepancies, validating information, and identifying the root cause of reporting and operational issues. This position will focus on supporting financial and operational reporting, and assisting with data maintenance and other special projects, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and availability of revenue and sales production information. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)1-2 years working in auditing, internal auditing, accounting, finance, compliance, reporting analysis, financial analysis, or related field preferredProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)Familiarity with Power BI is a plusFamiliarity with Insurance industry a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAttention to detail with a focus on data integrity and accuracyAbility to work collaboratively and support cross-functional reporting needs Preferred Attributes Naturally curious and enjoys investigating discrepancies, exceptions, and unusual trendsComfortable working through ambiguous problems and identifying root causesStrong attention to detail with a mindset focused on accuracy and validationStrong communication skills with the ability to explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholdersInterest in finance, operations, and business analysis with a desire to grow into broader analytical responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Conduct investigative analysis, research exceptions, and perform auditing projects to identify anomalies, reporting inconsistencies, commission discrepancies, process inefficiencies, and business improvement opportunitiesPerform reconciliations and investigative reviews to ensure the accuracy of revenue, production, compensation, and operational reporting.Support the Senior Financial Analyst in responding to individual and agency requests and questions, as well as continued Power BI maintenance.Work with Management on the internal auditing efforts of the company's E&O ProgramWork with (the VP of) Operations on an ad-hoc basis Benefits & Growth Opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership and gain exposure to financial and operational strategyHands-on training and development in advanced Power BI and financial analyticsCareer growth potential into senior analyst or financial analyst roles
