About the role
As a proactive partner to the Finance and Accounting team and other internal customers, you will identify datasets, analyze and validate data quality, and collaborate with business developers to model data for optimal reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple teams and departments to propose, design, and guide the implementation of new reporting solutions, including supporting changes in business processes.
- Develop wireframes and document workflow processes to support the design and development of reporting solutions for customers.
- Research new datasets, combine information from multiple sources, conduct data gap analysis, perform DAX queries and functions, data modeling, and basic M (Power Query Editor) capabilities, as well as basic SQL querying to visualize tables and data structures.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to understand business process requirements, design, develop, test, and implement automated dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights to drive action and decision-making across Esri.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams for continuous process improvement in reporting initiatives and other operational initiatives that support leadership decision-making.
- Support various accounting and reporting analyses and technical accounting research as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Analyst position.
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on audience.
- Ability to communicate business requirements and translate them into technical formats for Data Developers.
- Strong critical thinking skills to solve business problems and make decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills, with a thorough understanding of interpreting business needs.
- Detail-oriented to ensure data accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Qualifications
- Experience working with reporting and analytical tools such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power BI, Visio, and Lucid Charts.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $72,800 USD - $135,200 USD. Compensation decisions take into account skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
