Reparti per interventi ad alto rischio

About the role

These specialized units operate in high-risk situations requiring specific professional skills. The four units involved are:

• N.O.C.S. (Nucleo Operativo Centrale di Sicurezza)
• U.O.P.I. (Unità Operative di Primo Intervento)
<
• Artificieri (Bomb Squad)
• Tiratori scelti (Snipers)

Operators in these units undergo continuous, specialized training but must also possess particular psycho-physical aptitudes.

How to become an operator

To join these units, you must first become a police officer through a public competition. Successful candidates are assigned to training institutes across Italy to complete a formation course. After training, officers are assigned to various units and specialties based on territorial needs.

After gaining necessary experience and professional development, officers may apply for these specialized units by passing specific selections, followed by advanced training courses.
