Repair Technician I

YOUR ROLE IN THE BRIGHTSTAR UNIVERSE

• Tests equipment to determine cause of failure.
• Uses schematics and/or technical manuals in the repair/maintenance of terminal boards, etc.
• Component level troubleshooting of PC boards and sub-assemblies using oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc.
• Maintains log of incoming and outgoing terminals and repairs using data entry work station.
• Inspects terminal, circuits, etc. for damage.
• Cleans interior/exterior of terminal, boards, etc.
• Affords assistance to field service technicians with terminal related problems or in obtaining necessary supplies.
• Maintains terminals used in agent training as needed.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Loading/unloading trucks.
• Operates various equipment/machines including computer, oscilloscope, multi-meter, forklift, etc.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Associates Degree in Electronics preferred.
• One or more years of related work experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Loading/unloading trucks.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $31,049 – $55,444. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower.
• Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses.
• The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
• Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
