About the role
As Repair Station Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the DAS Aviation FAA Part 145 Repair Station Management Team and repair station operations. You will provide leadership and direction to support strategic objectives, operational goals, and long-term company growth, manage the operating budget, direct the daily flow of customer components, and ensure strict FAA compliance, component airworthiness, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operational oversight of the Management Team and repair station operations.
- Provide leadership and direction in support of strategic objectives and operational goals.
- Manage the Repair Station operating budget and Quantum Control administration.
- Manage the daily flow of customer components and work orders.
- Support customer AOG requirements and after-hours operational support as needed.
- Evaluate new business opportunities to determine operational feasibility and capability alignment.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate activities between Production, Quality, Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, Customer Service, and other departments.
- Monitor operational performance, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate training and development to maintain technical competency and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure delivery schedules and quality requirements are met per individual customer order.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or eligibility for an FAA Repairman Certificate.
- 10+ years of aerospace maintenance experience, preferably in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment.
- 5+ years of supervisory or management experience is highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of FAA regulations, Repair Station operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Quantum Control or equivalent maintenance management software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of component maintenance, inspection, testing, overhaul, and repair processes.

Physical Requirements
- Position operates in both office and FAA Part 145 repair station production environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Regular exposure to industrial equipment, cleaning solvents, warehouse operations, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working in designated production areas.
