About the role

As Manager of the FAA 145 repair station, you will lead the local team (repair technicians, customer team, supply chain, local HR, continuous improvement) and be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and executing the business strategy in line with Safran Aerosystems' objectives. You will ensure the repair station meets performance targets (On Time Delivery, quality, HSE) as well as budgeted sales and profit goals while fulfilling all regulatory, legal, social, safety, and moral obligations. Additionally, you will drive Group projects and innovation, support the sales and customer teams, and manage infrastructure and capability development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality and compliance with FAA 145 regulations.
  • Manage the site's P&L, ensuring Sales, Gross Profit, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital meet targets.
  • Ensure performance and satisfaction for customers.
  • Ensure repair station personnel adhere to all regulations.
  • Achieve sales targets through the sales/marketing team, pricing strategies, and Customer Support Representatives.
  • Invest in capability development (duplication and Entry Into Service) and manage the CAPEX budget and projects.
  • Lead business transfer projects and infrastructure initiatives, including building and facility improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations (handbook, training, state/federal requirements).
  • Launch and manage projects to improve repair station performance and sustainability.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of aviation/aerospace repair processes, CMMs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of production management, workflow planning, and operational metrics.
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking to technical and operational challenges.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance standards.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, university certificate, or five (5) years of related aerospace, aviation, quality, or operations experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MRO or aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
  • A&P License preferred.
  • Regulatory and certification experience desirable.

  • Ability to interpret technical documents, regulations, reports, and contracts.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations for varied audiences.
  • Effective communication with customers, auditors, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and management.
  • Ability to coordinate Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.

Physical Demands

  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
  • Requires close and distance vision with focus adjustment.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.
