Repair Order Manager

About the role

A typical day involves releasing purchase requisitions, attending repair-shop production meetings to track deliveries and overdue orders, compiling monthly shop performance data for management KPI reviews, and resolving GR/IR discrepancies to maintain accurate financial and inventory records. You will proactively address issues, manage escalations, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure order accuracy and meet critical delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

• Create repair purchase requisitions and purchase orders; monitor backlog and delivery milestones to support operational performance and business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams—including Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance—to ensure on-time order execution.
• Apply SAP expertise and knowledge of logistics and export compliance to enable efficient global order fulfillment.
• Ensure order accuracy, maintain critical delivery commitments, and manage escalations through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Manage and prioritize multiple global orders simultaneously, balancing competing customer requirements, production schedules, and business deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a supply-chain management role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization (current Siemens Energy employees with visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers).

About the team

The role is within the Gas Services division, which focuses on low-emission power generation through service, decarbonization, and modernization of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. The division also drives fleet digitalization and decarbonization opportunities.
