Repair & Maintenance - Painter

Essential Job Functions

• Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an ongoing basis.
• Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
• Clean all work areas after completing job.
• Fill out Daily Work form.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must have 5 years of previous experience as a commercial painter.
• Must have flexible availability to include weekend, nights and holidays.
• Able to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materials.
• Attention to detail is important.

Pay

Salary for this position starts at $24.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Viking Lakes are entitled to elect the following benefits:

• Wear personal protective equipment when required.

Working Environment

• Interior of hotel and in all areas of the property.
• Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
