The Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Clerk is responsible for the daily movement, restocking, and preparation of materials within the R&M Department. This position ensures that all parts are picked, packed, and delivered accurately for department requests and customer R&M orders. The R&M Clerk restocks parts brought back from other departments, maintains organization in the R&M area, and ensures safe and efficient handling of all materials. The role involves extensive walking and operation of material handling equipment and requires attention to detail when packing customer orders to ensure products arrive safely. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Pick parts requested by other departments and deliver them to the assigned staging or production location.Pick and stage parts for R&M customer orders; deliver them to the packing station for shipment.Safely and securely pack parts to ensure customer orders arrive without damage.Restock parts brought to the R&M Department, ensuring proper labeling and location accuracy.Use FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip to process and ship customer R&M orders.Operate scan guns to relocate, verify, and track inventory between locations.Drive and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean, organized R&M area, ensuring all items are stored safely and logically.Follow all safety guidelines and report damaged materials or unsafe conditions immediately.Assist the R&M Lead and Supervisor with daily assignments or priority orders as needed.Maintain productivity while performing physical tasks involving frequent walking, lifting, and equipment use.Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the R&M area. Requirements: Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.Must be willing to obtain and maintain forklift certification.Capable of performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment.Adherence to all company safety and housekeeping policies Supervision Received: Works under the direction of the R&M Lead and R&M Supervisor.Receives general instructions on daily priorities and works independently once assignments are made.Reports any issues, shortages, or shipment delays immediately to leadership. Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience in warehouse, shipping, or material handling preferred.Basic understanding of packaging and shipping procedures.Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, and scan gun operation preferred.Ability to operate forklifts, order pickers, and other material handling equipment.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Excellent time management and communication skills. Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing, and lifting throughout the shift.Regular use of material handling equipment and hand tools.Exposure to varying temperatures in warehouse or production environments.Occasional bending, climbing, and reaching while moving parts or supplies.
