About the role

The Rental Yard Associate plays a crucial part in helping to Build America by removing dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and ensuring all equipment is in good condition before delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before it goes out to the customer.
  • Inspects all rental equipment for damage and reports any damage according to established procedure.
  • Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
  • Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
  • Follows company safety policy and procedures.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
  • Able to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Generally has 0-2 years of experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.

Able to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
