Responsibilities
- Checking in and checking out rental equipment.
- Inspecting rental equipment for damages, maintenance and safety issues, preparing machines and attachments for next rental.
- Washing and cleaning rental machines and attachments.
- Aiding customers with loading and unloading equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs on rental machines.
- Proactively maintaining a safe and clean work environment in the yard and shop.
- Aiding the Rental Coordinator and Rental Sales team with customer questions and needs.
- Working independently as well as collaborating as part of a high-performing team.
- Opportunity for overtime as workload dictates (anything over 8 hours a day is paid at 1.5x your hourly rate).
Qualifications
- Ability to provide excellent customer experience.
- Ability to work well with minimum supervision.
- Proficient computer technology skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- PREFERRED: Ability to meet and maintain insurability standards to drive a company vehicle.
- PREFERRED: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly.
- PREFERRED: Preferred degree or certificate in a related field or equivalent applicable experience.
- PREFERRED: Preferred ability to acquire trade-specific tooling, including hand and impact tools.
- APPLIED KNOWLEDGE: Applied knowledge of basic mechanical theory.
- MUST HAVE: Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- MUST HAVE: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
