Responsibilities

• Cleaning machines
• Organizing equipment and components in yard
• Performing light maintenance to machines and components used in heavy equipment industry

Requirements

• Inspect equipment PM services, 90-day bits, ANSI
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Understanding of electrical, hydraulics, engine components
• Performing basic troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures
• Operating equipment and function testing machines
• Maintaining quality housekeeping in work area
• Understanding the operation, function, specifications, capabilities and controls of any piece of rental equipment
• Completing all documents associated with repairs in an accurate and timely manner
• Aiding in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components
• Adhering to manager’s and lead mechanic’s directions regarding all repairs and service calls
• Performing other work-related duties as directed or assigned

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school
• Two to four years mechanical experience or equivalent education and experience
