About the role

As a Rental Sales Management Trainee, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills, and resources to develop your relationship-building abilities. This program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, with the opportunity to finish in as little as 12 months based on performance. You will be assigned operational and administrative tasks supporting location and regional management, with structured work weeks, rotational Saturdays (depending on branch location/hours), and competitive pay plus overtime.

The incumbent will have the opportunity to carve out their own career path, with promotions from within based on performance. The role is based at the Rental Location in Grand Prairie, TX, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 1st Shift.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sales and processes for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation.
  • Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database.
  • Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
  • Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards.
  • Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain and grow the customer base.
  • On a voluntary basis or based on scheduling, perform the role of On-Call Representative as determined by your supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business administration or similar related degree preferred).
  • One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issues resolution preferred.
  • Must be computer literate at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to relocate within the region/U.S. at the conclusion of the training program.

Pay

This is a salaried position with a pay range of $55,000 annually. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on performance.
