About the role
The Rental Management Trainee program at Ryder is designed to be completed in 18-24 months and provides general Rental Management training along with specific training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Handle sales and process for inbound and outbound calls
- Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
- Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
- Manage all rental asset processes, including Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
- Meet overall Ryder market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives
- Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base
- Perform as an On-Call Representative on a voluntary or scheduled basis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in business administration or a similar related field
- One (1) year or more customer service experience with issue resolution
- Intermediate computer literacy
Qualifications
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to relocate in the region/US at the conclusion of the training program
