About the role

Newington, CT Imagineers is seeking an experienced Tax Credit Property Manager to oversee a 68 unit tax credit property in Newington.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the property, including tenant relations, maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Process annual certifications, interim reports, and recertifications according to HUD and Yardi guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to affordable housing and tax credits.
  • Supervise two support staff members, providing direction and training as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • One or more years of relevant residential or real estate property management experience.
  • Experience working with HUD, RAP, and LIHTC programs preferred.
  • Prior experience with Yardi Classic software.
  • Ability to read and obtain basic information from leases.
